How can you prepare monodispersed iron oxide nanoparticles?

I have been troubled with controlling the size of iron oxide nanoparticles. Some papers just said that it is difficult to prepare a monodispersed nanoparticle in aqueous solution. I also asked some other groups in conferences, but the answers were not able to solve my problem. Also I have to well-disperse the nanoparticles in aqueous solution. So what should I do? Please do me a fever. Thanks!
