Job description: A two-year (renewable to two more years) doctoral fellowship position in theoretical condensed matter physics is available at the Department of Physics of the Universidad de Buenos Aires(UBA), Argentina. The project is a collaboration between our group at UBA and the Max Planck Institute for Microstructure Physics, Halle-Germany. The successful applicant is expected to carry out research in theoretical
modelling and simulation to study the interaction of light with orbital angular momentum with bulk
semiconductors and/or semiconductor nanostructures. The candidate should hold a degree in physics. Spanish is required. The
