Job description: Two postdoc research fellow positions in computational nano-science are open in Department of Physics, National University of Singapore. Applicants should have earned a Ph. D in physics, chemistry, materials science or other relevant disciplines. We do not ask for extensive publication record, but experiences in first principles electronic structure calculations are required. The successful applicant will be expected to carry out independent research in theoretical modeling and simulation of nanostructures. Related interests include molecular electronics/spintronics, and nanocatalysis. The salary will be in the range of (Singapore Dollar) $4000 to $5000 per month (1 .36 SD ~ 1 USD), depending on experience and track record.
