Job description: Research project
The research project concerns the quantum theory and modeling of semiconductor quantum dots and wires, including phase change materials. It will take place in the context of a Belgian FRFC collaboration between the university of Liège and the Catholic University of Louvain (Dr. Sorin Melinte).
The initial contract will be for one year starting October 2008 or later, with possible 1 year extension.
Candidates
The candidates should have experience with DFT first-principles computational methods. Previous works on nanostructures and/or non crystalline materials simulations will be highly valued.
