Job description: You will be engaged in research and development using advanced data mining techniques & algorithms to handle large datasets, multi-media and infectious disease modelling.
Fresh graduates with passion to explore on utilizing HPC topics for large data mining problems are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements
• A PhD/MSc in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics, specialising in data mining or machine learning
• Relevant working experience in C/C++, MATLAB, SQL, Java, Windows or Unix programming, with preference given to those with strong background in Mathematics/ Statistics
• Strong conceptual understanding of a range of current data mining technologies (including but not limited to distributed and ubiquitous applications, hypertext and hypermedia, spatial and geographic, business intelligence etc.)
• Experience in data management and warehousing techniques is advantageous
